Government Funding for Three and Four Year Olds

The Willows Day Nursery (March) Early Education Grant funding is provided by the government to ensure that all children are able to access good quality free Early Years Education prior to starting school. A child becomes eligible for Early Education Grant in the term following their third birthday.

Flexibility

The Willows Day Nursery (March) offer parents the greatest amount of flexibility in the way that Two year old funding and Early Education Grant funding is accessed. We are able to either offer 15 hours a week over 38 weeks, which is term time only or you can ‘stretch’ the entitlement over 50 weeks. The Government has now launched its new scheme where parents and carers may be entitled to 30 Hours free childcare. We are pleased to confirm we are accepting children who have been awared this entitlement, either term time only or stretched over 50 weeks, terms and conditions apply.  For more information please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
